La Royalle

A programme of beautiful, nuanced chamber music from eighteenth century France, including music written for the private chambers of Louis XIV and XV at Versailles, and for the more adventurous Parisian salon. As well as works by Emanuel himself, the programme includes music by members of his musical circle JJ Quantz and Benda, as well as that of his illustrious father, Johann Sebastian, and of his inspirational godfather GP Telemann.
