    The Vivaldi Deception

    7.30pm

Falkirk Town Hall, West Bridge Street, Falkirk, FK1 5RS

    The Vivaldi Deception
Baroque ensemble Passacaglia present a veritable carnival of chamber music apparently by the great master Vivaldi – but masquerading in various different guises. Violin concerti re-crafted for keyboard by J S Bach; Vivaldi’s ‘Four Seasons’ re-arranged by a Frenchman with a Marie-Antoinette style champetre twist; and the uncovering of a real eighteenth century Vivaldi ‘identity theft…’.

With guest artists Tobie Miller (Hurdy Gurdy), Taro Takeuchi (baroque guitar), Christopher Suckling (cello)
